Visa Prize Draw

1. These prize draws (the “Merchant Prize” and the “ISA Prize”) are organised by Teya Services Limited of Third Floor, 20 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AN (“Teya UK”) and governed by these terms and conditions (“Terms”).

2. Entrants must be over 18. 

3. Only one entry is permitted per business. No entrant may win more than one prize or prize type. 

4. Entrants must be UK resident. 

5. In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Teya UK may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw or competition. 

6. Teya UK reserves all rights to disqualify you if you are ineligible or your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw or competition. 

   
   

Individual prize eligibility criteria 

7. Merchant Prize eligibility: entrants must be Teya merchants. 

8. ISA Prizes eligibility: entrants must be an active Teya UK Individual Sales Agent (“ISA”).  

   
   

How to enter 

Individual prize requirements 

9. Merchant Prize entrance: Merchants must transact a minimum of GBP 2,500 on their Teya UK terminal between 13 June 2024 and 20 June 2024 (inclusive) to be automatically entered into the prize draw. 

10. ISA Prizes entrance: There are three prizes available:  

    1. One for the ISA with the highest TPV between 17 May 2024 and 20 June 2024 (inclusive); 

    2. One for the highest number of gross adds gained between 17 May 2024 and 20 June 2024; and 

    3. One as part of a lottery; the number of tickets allocated to each ISA is dependent on over-performance of gross adds targets between 17 May 2024 and 20 June 2024.  

General requirements 

11. Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted. 

12. The prize draws are free to enter. 

13. Teya UK will not accept responsibility for entries that are withdrawn, late or become ineligible, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems or network error, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. 

14. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms. If you have any questions, please contact help@teya.com. 

15. Teya UK reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms. 

16. By participating in this promotion, you understand and agree that you are not being granted any rights (including any advertising, marketing or sponsorship rights) in relation to the Paris 2024 - International Olympic Committee and Paris Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 or Olympics - Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 (or any associated competitions, matches, teams or athletes) and shall not conduct any related marketing or advertising campaigns, promotions or other activities.  

    
    

The Draw 

17. Winners for the Merchant Prize and the ISA Prizes will be chosen by random draw on 21 June 2024.

    1. The Merchant Prize will have one winner. 

    2. The ISA Prizes will have three winners (one for each type of prize). 

18. Each prize winner’s package will consist of the following: 

Included in the Packages 

• 2 night’s hotel accommodation at Novotel Les Halles (3 star) 

• 2x Pre-selected Events including opening (Category B tickets) 

• Paris Tourist Pass (e.g. Hop-on, Hop-off) 

• Visa Prepaid Card (200 Euro) 

• Visa Everywhere Lounge at hotel 

• Airport/Train Station Transfers in Paris (via Motorcoach)

• Daily breakfast and light snacks available at hotel 

• Paris Metro Card for transport to/from Olympic events 

• Gifts/Amenities - $400 Value 

• Visa event, medical and security support staff 

  
  

Excluded from the Packages

• Transport to/from Paris

• Any meal, event and/or activity outside of the scheduled program itinerary  

• Hotel incidentals

• Passports and/or travel visas

• Any applicable taxes

19. The prize must be accepted as awarded and is subject to all of the applicable terms and conditions prescribed to such prize, including passing necessary sanctions screening. The winners will be contacted as soon as possible after being chosen and must indicate their acceptance of the prize, and confirm the details of them and their guest, within twenty-four (24) hours. If a winner does not respond to Teya UK within twenty-four (24) hours of being notified, then that winner’s prize will be forfeited and Teya UK will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. By accepting the prize the holder is deemed to have accepted all of the applicable terms and conditions prescribed to such prize, including any entry and COVID-19 requirements. 

20. The prize is not negotiable, non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Prize winners/recipients must not re-sell or transfer the prize in any way, unless otherwise approved. 

21. In the event of the prize being unavailable, Teya UK reserves the right to substitute it for one of equal or greater value. Any substitution will be within the entire discretion of Teya UK. In the event the winner does not accept the substitution they will forfeit their right to the prize.  

22. The decision of Teya UK regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 

23. The winner’s name and county can be obtained by emailing Teya UK at help@teya.com.  

24. Teya UK reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. 

25. Paris 2024 - International Olympic Committee and Paris Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 and Visa are not responsible for the administration of the promotion.  

    
    

Limitation of liability 

26. Paris 2024 - International Olympic Committee and Paris Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 is not liable for anything arising out of this promotion including the fulfilment of any prizes.  

27. So far as is permitted by law, Paris 2024 - International Olympic Committee and Paris Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Visa, Teya UK and each of their associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from: (i) any postponement, cancellation or material change of the promotion of Olympics - Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024; and (ii) any act or default by a winner or their guest resulting in the winner or their guest being unable to activate the prize and/ or any elements of it.  

Data protection and publicity 

28. Teya UK is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and, unless otherwise stated in these Terms, will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Teya UK’s Privacy Notice, which is available here.  

29. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by Teya UK or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.  

30. Personal information supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third parties such as Visa, its associated companies and service providers insofar as required for fulfilment, delivery and arrangement of the prize and shall when provided to Visa shall be processed in accordance with Visa’s privacy policy. https://www.visa.co.uk/legal/privacy-policy.html

    
    

Governing law

31. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. 

32. Teya UK reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
