Shopify Privacy Notice

SaltPay / Teya "the App” provides online payment processing "the Service" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Notice is in addition to our main Privacy Notice and describes specifically how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Payment Gateway Information (read_payment_gateways, write_payment_gateways): We access and modify your store's payment gateway configurations to enable our payment processing services. This includes gateway settings, payment method configurations, and processing preferences.
Payment Session Information (read_payment_sessions, write_payment_sessions): We access and create payment session data to facilitate secure payment processing for your customers' transactions. This includes transaction amounts, currency information, and payment flow states.
Order Information: We access order details that contain customer information necessary for payment processing, including customer names, billing addresses, email addresses, and transaction amounts.
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App and start directing customers to our checkout page:
Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device.
Information about individuals that attempt to complete payment on our hosted checkout page, to enable us to process the payment and manage subsequent requests, including complying with our regulatory obligations
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual or using the following technologies:
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App.
We process customer billing information and order details solely for the purpose of completing payment transactions.
We access customer names, email addresses, and billing addresses only as provided through order data during the payment process.
We do not store customer personal information beyond what is necessary for payment processing and transaction completion.
Additionally, we use your personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Data Subject Rights
Your rights are covered within ‘Your legal rights’ in our main Privacy Notice.
Data Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records in line with our data retention practices outlined in our main Privacy Notice unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
