Boost Terms

Welcome to Teya Boost!

Our mission is to offer a product that helps our merchants (brick & mortar local businesses like you) get found and chosen more often with our easy-to-use online visibility tools aiming to grow your footfall and revenues as well as create a closer connection to your customers online by reviewing and monitoring their feedback online.

The terms and conditions set out here (the “Teya Boost Terms”) govern your use of Teya Boost, so please read them over carefully.  When you access Teya Boost, you also agree to the Teya General Terms and the Teya Data Protection Addendum, which are incorporated into these Teya Boost Terms by reference, including any amendments made to those from time to time. 

Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalised terms have the same meaning as in the Teya General Terms. To the extent that any provisions of these Teya Boost Terms conflict with the Teya General Terms, the relevant provisions of these Teya Boost Terms shall prevail.

1. Definitions

Fees: fees Teya charges you for using Teya Boost;

Teya Acquiring:  payment processing services provided by Teya Iceland hf.;

Teya: SO Connect B.V. (company number: 56838182), registered in Amsterdam with its principal offices in (1017 ND) Amsterdam, the Netherlands Leidsegracht 107, or any company that is a subsidiary or affiliate of SO Connect B.V.

2. Roles at a Glance

Teya offers users the ability to display and update their information across an array of platforms in real time with just one click through Teya Boost. It also offers the ability to improve your business with reviews, insights and analysis -  allowing you to build better relationships with your customers.

It’s important to note that Teya is not responsible for and makes no promises, warranties, or guarantees, whether express or implied about the accuracy of the information uploaded by users and Authorised Users nor the content of the reviews received. We are not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such content. However, we have the right at our sole discretion to remove any content that, in our judgment, does not comply with these Teya Boost Terms and any other rules of user conduct for our service.

When you use Teya Boost you confirm (i) you are authorised to transmit the information to our publication partners, (ii) that the information does not contain any viruses, spyware or other harmful code or materials, (iii) that your location data constitutes a “primary” source of the information, i.e. that it have been officially approved by an authorised representative of you, and (iv) that the information is current and accurate and is not unlawful, inappropriate or offensive. Further, in responding and interacting with your customers using Teya Boost you agree to act in accordance with these terms.

3. Accessing Teya Boost

Account Registration: Unlocking the full potential of Teya Boost and enjoying the perks we have to offer is a breeze: 1) simply sign up for your Teya Account; and 2) after creating your Teya Account, use it to sign into Teya Boost. During registration, you will be asked to provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your name, email address, business name (if you’re a business user), and any other details necessary for account setup.

Account Security: It is your responsibility to keep your Teya Account credentials safe, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your Teya Account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to safeguard your Teya Account information.

Account Updates: You must keep your Teya Account information accurate and up-to-date at all times. If any changes occur, such as changes to your contact information, payment details, or business status, you are required to update your Teya Account accordingly.

4. Your information

You hereby grant to us a global, non-exclusive, transferable and gratuitous right (i) to collect, combine or modify the information, or to augment them with other information received by publication partners or any affiliated companies; (ii) to use the information for publication partners’ internal purposes, (iii) to sell, market, distribute, promote and advertise products that contain the information, (iv) to disclose the information and/or works derived from them to its publication partners and (v) to indirectly grant use of the information to the clients of the publication partners via arrangements with the latter.

5. Fees

If you are a Teya Acquiring customer, you will be charged in accordance with the Teya Payment Services Terms.

If you are not a Teya Acquiring customer, you will be charged in accordance with the billing arrangements we have agreed with you.  

6. Services

Teya shall be free to add, alter or remove features of Teya Boost from time to time. If this change should result in a (temporary) reduction and/or failure of the availability of Teya Boost, Teya will inform you about this in advance where possible.

7. General

If you provide any feedback, comments or suggestions in relation to us and our Services, we may use that feedback, comments and suggestions and incorporate it into our products and services without any obligations to you.  

For the avoidance of doubt, provisions around general terms not covered in these Teya Boost Terms, including but not limited to term and termination, restrictions and unauthorised or illegal use, intellectual property, data, amendments, indemnification, limitation of liability, warranties, severability, force majeure, and disputes, shall be governed by the Teya General Terms.
